An Animal Shelter Helped A Homeless Owner Who Had To Leave Her Dog Due To Her Difficulties.

When people become helpless in life, they have to make hard decisions to continue to move on with life. It is not that they are happy to do those things, but the circumstances make you make those decisions at those moments. Recently a homeless woman had to make a similarly difficult decision. Since she became homeless, she had to give up her loving and caring dog.

The animal center received a guest with a note.

Recently the McKamey Animal Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, was visited by a new guest at their home. According to reports, a samaritan found Lilo and took her unharmed and safe to McKamey Animal Center. When they received Lilo, they checked whether she was okay. And they found a note in the dog’s collar. It was a very sad note left by her owner.

The note said that Lilo’s owner could no longer maintain her because she is homeless and has two children: The note stated that she tried her best but could not get aid. It also said the dog cost too much, she loves it & it is a great dog & loves to be loved. The owner also wrote, please do not abuse it in the note.

The shelter did not want to leave the owner behind.

The McKamey Animal Center felt very sympathetic about the situation. They did not only feel sad for the dog; they felt the difficulty the owner must have had in their heart. The shelter hoped that instead of leaving Lilo behind, the owner had sought their help for those in need. They later decided to write a social media post to inform the owner of this. In the post, they offered to get her back together with Lilo and to assist them in any way they could.

In the post, they promised to assist the owner in every way necessary to take the best possible care of her. They also said Lilo misses her, and they want her to return to her beloved family. And they said that either way, please know that they understand, will not judge, and are there to help in any way they can.
