Tarun Kumar Mandal, a police constable in Kolkata, India, was working at a busy seven-point crossing when two stray dogs appeared, seeking refuge from the heavy rain. Instead of ignoring them, Tarun opened his umbrella and offered the pups a momentary shelter from the downpour.
