The Dog Whose Owner Had To Tie Up Outside An Airport Had A Different Ending To Its Story.

Unfortunate circumstances leave us with difficult choices. But we have to take them at those moments to continue with life. It is life, not fair, but we have got to move on. Those decisions can vary from little ones to extreme ones, such as leaving your loved one. This story is about an owner who had to make an extreme decision like that about the pet he loved. But the story did have a happy ending no one ever thought of.

The last flight

It was December 29. The Animal Rescue League of Iowa had a strange case that day. They reported finding a 1-year-old tied up outside Des Moines International Airport. The situation was quite concerning. The dog’s owner did not wish to leave his loving pet at the airport. He tried to board the flight with the dog, but the plane did not have a kennel to support his situation. This situation left him to make a difficult decision. The owner had to take the flight and leave his pet behind.

Allie, the little angel

The dog’s name was Allie. After her owner had to leave her, she waited outside the airport, tied up. Animal Rescue League (ARL) of Iowa later took this poor dog with them. Although she had to face that unfortunate incident, the ARL said that Allie was a sweet puppy in high spirits. ARL CEO Tom Colvin said she was very friendly and loved everybody from the airport staff that came out, brought her a blanket, stayed with her, loved her, and gave her all the attention until their animal services officers came out and picked her up. And he also said Allie was charming.

A Happy ending for Allie

ARL stated at the time that Allie would receive medical attention, be spayed, and have a microchip

installed before being placed up for adoption in the hopes of finding a better and more devoted home. And before a long time passed, good news came for Allie. Someone wanted to adopt her.

Animal Rescue League of Iowa shared this good news about Allie on their Facebook page. They said that her new owner spotted Allie first at the airport when she was left behind. According to the owner, Allie was settling into her new home quite well. Allie is thrilled to be moving to a new home in photographs the rescue released of her bidding the ARL workers farewell.

Allie’s former owner

Allie’s previous owner defended why he had to leave his dog behind like that. His name is Bigsen Charles, and he is 24 years old. He said he had to do that day to make his flight to New Jersey. He said he had already checked in and did not want to miss his flight. He further reasoned that they would provide the dog with a kennel if he had paid for the pet to fly with him. And he did not know he had to bring his own.

Charles said he wanted the dog picked up but could not arrange it because he knew someone would take her. Later, he gave the dog to ARL. Although they reportedly obtained a warrant, it is unclear if he will be charged. But for Allie, the universe was not cruel to her. She finally found a new home with a lovely heart and could win many hearts due to this incident.
